Easy Banana Bread
This moist and flavorful banana bread is a classic for a reason! Use up those ripe bananas and enjoy a slice of warm, comforting goodness.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 3 medium Mashed Ripe Bananas
- 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1/3 cup Melted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Preparing the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Mixing the Batter
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Add the sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
Combining Wet and Dry
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Baking
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. If the top of the bread is browning too quickly, tent it with foil.
Cooling
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
