Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Butterscotch chips
  • 14 oz can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/3 cups Shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans

Prepare the Crust

Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Mix well until evenly moistened. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Layer the Ingredients

Sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and walnuts evenly over the graham cracker crust. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layers. Make sure to cover the entire surface.

Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Cool and Cut

Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.

FAQ

  • Can I substitute the nuts?

Yes, you can use any nuts you prefer, or omit them altogether if you have nut allergies. Sunflower seeds are a good alternative.
  • Can I use different types of chips?

Absolutely! Milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or even peanut butter chips would be delicious. Feel free to experiment with your favorite flavors.
  • How do I prevent the bars from sticking to the pan?

Lining the baking pan with parchment paper is the best way to prevent sticking and makes it easy to lift the bars out after baking.
