Ingredients
- 200 g Egg Noodles
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Lemon
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- to taste Parmesan Cheese (optional)
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (optional)
Cook the Noodles
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the noodles, reserving about 1/4 cup of the pasta water.

Make the Sauce
In the same pot (or a skillet), melt the butter with the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
Combine and Serve
Add the drained noodles to the pot with the lemon garlic sauce. Toss to coat. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water if needed to create a smoother sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
