Speedy 10-Minute Chicken Ramen with Veggies
A flavorful and quick chicken ramen noodle bowl with fresh or frozen veggies, ready to eat in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 packet Instant Ramen Noodles (Chicken Flavor)
- 1/2 cup Cooked Chicken
- 1/4 cup Broccoli Florets
- 1/4 cup Carrot
- 1 Green Onion
- 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Egg (optional)
Boil Water and Cook Noodles
Bring about 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot. Add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to package directions (usually 2-3 minutes).
Add Vegetables
In the last minute of cooking the noodles, add the broccoli florets and shredded carrot to the pot. This will lightly cook them. If using frozen vegetables, ensure they are microwaveable or easily sauteed.
Assemble the Ramen Bowl
Drain the noodles and vegetables, reserving about 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Return the noodles and vegetables to the pot or transfer to a bowl. Add the cooked chicken, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Stir in the seasoning packet from the ramen noodles. Add the reserved cooking water if needed to adjust the consistency.
Optional: Add an Egg
For a richer bowl, you can add a soft boiled or poached egg on top of your ramen before serving.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately. Add a dash of sriracha for a spicy kick, if desired.
