Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 12 Wooden skewers

Preparing the Marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger. This flavorful mixture will be the base for our delicious beef kebabs.

Marinating the Beef

Add the cubed sirloin steak to the marinade. Ensure that all the beef pieces are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully infuse the meat.

Assembling the Kebabs

Soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during grilling. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Grilling the Kebabs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked through to your desired doneness. Baste the kebabs with any remaining marinade during the last few minutes of grilling for extra flavor and a beautiful glaze.

Serving the Kebabs

Remove the kebabs from the grill and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately as a delicious and flavorful appetizer or as part of a main course.
