Garlic Herb Pull-Apart Bread
A delicious and interactive appetizer, this pull-apart bread is infused with garlic, herbs, and melted cheese. Perfect for sharing!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Bread dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons Fresh chives
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter
Begin by melting the butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Mince the garlic cloves very finely. Stir the minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, salt, and pepper into the melted butter. This mixture will be the base for the flavorful bread.
Shape the Dough
If using store-bought dough, let it rise according to package instructions. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 12x18 inches. Spread the garlic herb butter evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
Create the Pull-Apart Design
Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into strips about 2 inches wide. Stack the strips on top of each other. Then, cut the stacked strips into 2-inch squares. You should have a stack of small dough squares.
Arrange in a Baking Dish
Grease a bundt pan or a 9-inch springform pan. Carefully arrange the dough squares vertically in the pan, creating a layered effect. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the arranged dough.
Bake the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through. Let the bread cool slightly in the pan before inverting it onto a serving plate. Serve warm and enjoy!
