Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup, crumbled Tofu
  • 1/4 cup, soaked and chopped Glass Noodles (Dangmyeon)
  • 1/2 , finely chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup, finely chopped Carrot
  • 2 , thinly sliced Green Onions
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 40-50 Mandu Wrappers

Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled tofu, chopped glass noodles, onion, carrot, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Wrap the Mandu

Place a mandu wrapper in the palm of your hand. Add a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper in half to form a half-moon or desired shape and pinch the edges together to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

Steam the Mandu

Line a steamer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the mandu in a single layer in the steamer basket, making sure they are not touching. Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Place the steamer basket over the boiling water, cover, and steam for 10-12 minutes, or until the wrappers are translucent and the filling is cooked through.

Serve

Serve the mandu hot with a dipping sauce of your choice (soy sauce and vinegar mixture or gochujang).
