Whole30 Balsamic Fig Marinade

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Fig Paste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, fig paste, olive oil, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt and pepper until combined

Marinating

Place protein or vegetables in a resealable bag or dish. Pour marinade over, coating evenly.

Refrigerate

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours. Less time is needed for seafood (30-60 min).

Cooking

Remove from refrigerator and discard marinade. Grill, bake or pan-fry as desired.
